The 7d has a few extra options but the T2i is a good choice. The extras the 7d has over the T2i I can over looked when you add a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 and the Canon 50mm 1.8 II for lenses. You will still need something to keep sharp focus (I use LCDVF) and sound but you will be well on your way for a great rig for filmmaking for a little more than $1,000.00.

Ok filmmakers no more excuses, Canon’s new T2i creates great images for under $1000.00. If you don’t buy this and start shooting you really don’t want to make films.
